Hague is a town in Warren County and is part of Glens Falls. It was originally named after the city of Hague located in Hollan and is located on the eastern border of the county. The town was first settled around 1796. The Town of Hague was originally part of the Town of Bolton and was created in 1807 as the Town of Rochester. In 1808 it changed its name to Hague
In 1904 the waters of Hague bay were home of the Lake George Monster. The Lake George Monster was a hoax invented by painter Harry Watrous in 1904. The monster was purportedly sighted at Hague Bay in Lake George
The Town of Hague had its own centralized school district from 1927 to 1979. Hague is located in historic New York which has been the host to many movies. Hague, like many towns, relies on fund accounting software to keep their records in order.
