The Lowdown
The ambiance at Jose Malone's is great. We love it! Of course we are a sucker for anything classy and relaxed and this does the trick. We had the place virtually to ourselves during our visit and the bartender was very open and accessible for information.
There is a nice seating area, great dim-relaxing lighting, and a nice bar that specializes in margaritas, and they do NOT disappoint. We tried a margarita and it was impressive, and we consider ourselves hard to impress when it comes to mixed drinks.
This is a great place to bring a date for a romantic evening or unwind from a hectic work day in your suit and tie. We recommend checking this out. Brown's and Ryan's Wake may get the most attention which may cause you to miss out on Jose Malone's, so keep your eyes open!
The Service
Of course it is easy for us to say the service was great, we were the only ones there!!! But we actually have heard mixed reviews from many of our friends about the service, but don't worry 518ers, we WILL be back here! So this part of our review, is going to rely mostly on your votes (feel free to email us your thoughts or simply leave a comment after you vote on the poll below) and we will go back in the future (when invited) and give this a rating.
As far as food, we have eaten here before we reviewed it and we all agreed that this place has a good kitchen and and the food is worth the price!
We will be back here if Jose Malone's wants our review of the food more in depth, but that's up to them. We hope to hear from them so we can check out more of the menu!
The Scene
This place has a classy feel and sophisticated mantra. Not very likely you will find a rowdy young crowd here. If you are sophisticated, mature, and looking for a relaxed low-key night full of margaritas, Irish-Mexican food, and a nice ambiance, you got it all here at Jose Malone's and you will not be disappointed!
