The Lowdown
JJ Rafferty's is one of the best local bars near Latham Circle. The bar is packed with singles, couples, and friends mostly from the Latham area.
There is an age limit of 22 which is great at weeding out the rowdy college crowds.
The bar is big, the food is good, and the patio area is very night. We do have to shout out the hostess who did provide us with some information that was useful and was just very friendly!
The bar was really packed and you do run a risk of spilling your drink, but surprisingly we didn't have to wait more than 3 minutes for our beers.
The Service
The bar was really packed so it was impressive to find our drinks quickly. We didn't have a chance to try out any of the menu so we hope we get invited to do so.
Staff seemed friendly and there was on hand security to ensaure everyone had a safe and a happy time! Kudos!
The Scene
If your new to the Latham area this is a must! Live music and a great local atmosphere make this a great place to visit!
Mostly a neighbrohhod crowd but many people from Troy trickle in. A great option for happy hour or lunch.
During the summer they open the patio to provide a great setting.
A hotel right next door if you have had a little too much to drink!
