The Lowdown
Bangkok Bistro is a good time. Although we went and reviewed it on a relatively quiet night we have been here during the more busy nights in the week. This is a great spot to check out especially if you want to mingle with some attractive singles.
Bangkok makes a solid effort to attract the Union College crowd and does a nice job competing with Katie's and Clinton's Ditch and although it is clearly visible at the corner of State & Erie, it really is one of Schenectady's little secrets.
We will certainly be coming back ! Maybe you will see members of the 518 Fever team at the bar!
The Service
Whether you are ordering Thai food, sushi or drinks, the staff does a good job in providing good service. One of it's busier nights is Thursday so expect a little more of a wait for your orders during this time but they still do a great job being as quick as possible.
On top of that we found the staff to be very personable. The bartender working took a lot of time giving us all the information about the bar itself and was extremely helpful.
The Scene
If your single and want to meet some locals, great place to be! Girls are approachable and mostly friendly. You get a nice mixture of styles here, so no matter what your style is, you have a great chance of finding it here!
